A specific product
SNP25 is the pyrotechnical product specifically designed to work together with SNIPER System. It is an innovative pyrotechnic product, one of a kind, that allows to achieve excellent results in the artificial avalanche detachment operations, ensuring, at the same time, high security standards for people who use it. SNP25 has been designed by CAMP Srl in partnership with the company PARENTE FIREWORKS, international leader in the production and distribution of pyrotechnical articles, that dedicated months of experimentation and research to develop a product that meets the quality, safety and efficiency standards required by SNIPER technologies.
SNP25 benefits
SNP25 allows operators to intervene immediately in case of need. As a matter of fact the pyrotechnic charge is delivered ready for use and provided with its electric lighter. SNP25 can be stocked also without specific deposit in quantities up to 25 kg, upon notification to the local public security office. On the other hand, with specific storage the operators can hold up to 500 kg of pyrotechnic material. The article is totally safe: it is equipped with delayed fuse and a series of electric safety systems in order to avoid the accidental ignition of the charge, ensuring the user’s safety. It has no problem linked to low temperatures, typical of the mountain environment in the Winter season. Moreover, experimentations and tests demonstrated that, compared with traditional explosives, SNP25 works at a lower speed, but with double application time, increasing exponentially the destabilizing effect on the snow cover, thus allowing efficient and safe results. The product can be delivered in two different formats: the standard version, used in the normal avalanche blasting operations, and the less powerful version SNP25-A, specifically designed for exercise.
