For the combined use with SNIPER System has been developed the SNP explosive, a pyrotechnical product that offers all the benefits of membership category. Unlike the explosives commonly used to cause shock waves on the snow cover, SNP is reachable in short time, without complex authorisations. Moreover, SNP can be stocked in dedicated storage without Security risks, ensuring in this way the possibility of immediate intervention.

SNP25
The SNP25 is a pyrotechnic product specially designed by SNIPER Technology to cause the controlled release of avalanches for the safety of territories.
Experimental tests have proved that SNP25’s medium-low speed deflagration is more effective than high speed explosion. Working at a lower speed but for a higher application time allows the SNP25 to exert greater pressure on the snow surface.
The SNP25 pyric charge is compatible only with SNIPER Technology Systems that provide the electric ignition of the same: SNIPER X system applied to SNIPER UAV, SNIPER X and X4 system applied to fixed pulley systems and SNIPER FOX system for Avalanche Blasting.

To handle the SNP25 it is necessary to pass the Exam for the assessment of the technical capacity for the execution of explosives operator activity and to get the suitability certificate. As an alternative, it is necessary to have the suitability of fireworks lighting issued by the competent Prefecture after have made a specific exam.
